After all, Webb's not just a nerd, he's a cheerleader too. Crash and his best buddy, Mike, can't think of anything more hilarious than making Webb's life miserable. But Crash starts to realize that Webb has something he may never gain, no matter how many touchdowns he scores. 1. 24. Based on the book Crash daydreams about the race offs. The reason he day dreams about this is because every time he races he wins, so he thinks he will win the race. There was one spot open for one of the races and Crash thought it would be him who would get the spot. In the book it says, "I didn't pay attention in class I kept thinking about the race of today and the relays Friday."

    25. According to the book, how Crash's family has changed at the end of the novel is Crash's family is a lot kinder. For example Crash would always like to win but when Crash was racing he let Penn win the race. Another thing is Crash's mom only goes to work part time now so she can take care of her dad. In the book it talks about Abby and Crash telling stories to Scooter, Crash using his money to buy his mom a pair of pants, they got tickets for a ball game, Crash got invited to a party at Jane Forbes', and Crash and Penn are best friends.

  5. 24. Crash day dreams about him being in the Penn Relays the person says go. Then he has his palm open and he grabs the baton he curls his hand around it he switches it into his right hand. Then he takes off down the track i’m dead last ten meter behind every one he is Hopeless. By the time he hits the straight away he’s passing the next to last runner, then the next and next runner. So with one last gasp he throws his arms back and his chest forward and the red ribbon breaks like a butterfly across my shirt. He slows down and stops he stands on the Brick colored track and he got his team First place.

    25. Crashes family has changed because his mom only works part time. Crash is Penn’s best friend now and does not feel like the Crash Man anymore because he is being nice now. According to the book, Crash daydreams about him winning the race so he can run the the Penn Relays.Crash also wants to run because he says he is the fast one in the school and the best. He was daydreaming about him bringing the team to first place. And last, he wants everyone to cheer for him because he wants to be the hero to save the day.

Based on what I read, Crash’s family has changed. One reason is that the mom only works part time a day. Crash doesn’t feel like the Crashman anymore. And last is that Abby has won the fight between her dad and her to keep the backyard habitat. The backyard has tall grass and weeds for her habitats.

Day and night. 24/7, 365. Nonstop.

    25. Crash’s family has changed at the end because now Crash is a lot nicer. Scooter is getting better. Now, Crash’s mom only works halftime, so she can spend more time with her kids. Looks like they’re becoming a family. A better one, I mean.

  9. Penn's essay was about his great-grandpa, who is also Penn's best friend. Henry, Penn's great-grandpa gave Penn his name. He named him Penn because Henry ran in the Penn relays of 1919. Henry used to tell Penn stories from the past. Penn has only seen Henry once since they moved to Pennsylvania. Penn also wrote that he has been practicing for the Penn relays.

How Crash thinks that track and football differ is that there is no ball in track. In football, you ram your opponent, in track, you beat them by running. In track, there are no pads, in football, you wear tons of padding. In track there is nothing in the way to plow, just a string across the finish line.

Their dad let the lawn grow long because 1) he knows how important it is to Abby and 2) he doesn't want to argue with her any more than he already has. Since Scooter recently had a stroke and he hasn't recovered all of the way (he lost some of his memory) only says " A-bye".

From what I read crash day dreams about a race and he wins the race. That was a crazy day and in the day dream he is running and sweating he is far ahead and he sees all the people far behind him. One of the other things in that race was the shiny blue ribbon rubbing in his hand and it rips like a butter fly wing. Soon he heres coooooooooogan is the winner!.

At the end of the novel crashes family changed alot. One of the weirdest things was penn was crash's best friend. mike and crash were over and now they hate each other. And the weebs and the coogans were friends at the end.

Crash also changed because he is now best friends with Penn and in the beginning Crash made fun of Penn. Crash doesn't pick on people anymore, now he is nice. Crash doesn't always want to win like he used too.

Crash was going to do a race-off to try to get on the team. In the book it says, "I hardly ate breakfast. I didn't pay attention in class.
