Everybody knows Crash Coogan, seventh-grade football sensation. He's been moving down everything in his path since the time he could walk-and Penn Webb, his dweeby, vegetable-eating neighbor, is his favorite target. After all, Webb's not just a nerd, he's a cheerleader too. Crash and his best buddy, Mike, can't think of anything more hilarious than making Webb's life miserable. But Crash starts to realize that Webb has something he may never gain, no matter how many touchdowns he scores. And when Mike takes a prank too far, maybe even for Crash, the football star has to choose which side he's really on.

Crash and Addy had a conversation about oysters and Abby said “that it does not have a face so I can eat it.” When Abby was little, Scooter would tell Crash and Abby that the store ran out of turkey so they would have buzzard but it really was not buzzard.

One stuffing was oyster stuffing while the other was regular stuffing. Crash liked the oyster stuffing better. Him and his sister Abby gobble it up before anybody else can have some. Scooter teased Abby that he was going to make a soy bean turkey for Thanksgiving.
18. Crash is upset when Penn's family comes over because they eat the macaroons his grandpa made just for him. Crash also doesn't like that the Webb family brings food over. He finds it insulting. Crash just glares at Penn and doesn't answer Penn's questions.
